Windsor Newton- Cadmium Red Light and Cadmium Yellow Light.
Perhaps my most favorite color combination , Cadmium Red and Cadmium Yellow. Clean opaque colors that seem to define the word primary. Light Cadmium's mix together beautifully literally creating the colors of fire. Cadmium's dry flat creating a visual depth of color similar to the way flat black looks like a hole. Cadmium's can appear as a color space. They dry quicker than I would like. I extend their drying time with the tiniest amount of clover oil. Expensive but opaque, spread thin they cover completely leaving behind the kind of color energy that defines modern painting.
